The Assitant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered professional nurse who has the responsibility for assisting the manager in the direction of professional activities and patient care delivered in the unit on an assigned shift, through the process of assessment diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, the ANM prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient care and the activities of the ancillary nursing personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing.

Licensure: Current Florida licensure for Professional Nurse.
Experience: Minimum one year Hospital experience required. Minimum six months experience in the appropriate nursing specialty required.
Education: Graduate from a school of nursing or equivalent. Graduate of baccalaureate nursing program or working toward such, preferred.
