Job Summary
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor-Electrical, installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs all electrical facilities and equipment. May provide work direction to apprentices, labourers, and other designated staff.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience
Grade ten plus two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Certificate of Apprenticeship and Trades Qualification Certificate as a journeyman Electrician recognized by the Province of B.C., with the following designations: Class Code - EW, Scope - Electrical Worker Unrestricted, AR - Class A.
Valid Class 5 vehicle licence.

Demonstrated Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
Ability to operate related equipment.

Full Time Hours Bi-Weekly 75.0 hours, 7.5 hour day shift; days off per operational requirements, Victoria, Classification MA31, $28.47 hourly
As per the Facilities Subsector Start Date - As soon as possible
