Acute Clinical Coordinator/Acute Coordinator RN - Richmond (Central Virginia Acutes - VA)

Description
The Acute Clinical Coordinator provides professional nursing care and coordination of services provided in various licensed acute hospitals and sub-acute facilities that have contracted with DaVita to provide dialysis and other services to patients of and under the license of the acute facility. Responsibilities include acting as team leader, supervising and administering direct patient care, communicating with the Acute Program Office to coordinate and organize assignments as well as patient treatment plans. This position also ensures documentation of all delivered care is complete and reviews essential quality assurance markers of care delivered with Facility Administrator for reporting.

Qualifications

* Current RN licensure in state of employment
* At least one-year dialysis experience
* Current CPR certification
* Current basic EKG interpretation program completed
* Ability to effectively work with patients, hospital personnel and physicians
* Ability to work overtime with little or no notice
* Ability to work on-call and/or rotating schedules when required
