Job Description:
The Medical Surgical Nursing Administrative Director leads strategic direction for the Med Surg subdivision, which includes: 52-bed adult medical unit, 36-bed adult medical cardiac unit, 46-bed adult medical unit, 52-bed adult medical/surgical unit, 42-multi-speciality critical care/intensive care unit (includes ICU, Step-down unit & PACU), 37-bed Emergency Department, and Nursing Support Services and Labor Pool Department. The incumbent is primarily accountable for the planning, implementation and operation of the department in order to meet the needs of the organization. The Administrative Director will provide leadership and expertise in the management of the department. Accountable for human resource management, financial management, and quality management for department and programs within incumbents responsibility in support of the mission, vision and strategic objectives of the organization. We have 3 Administrative Directors with subdivisions of Med Surg, Surgical Services, and Women & Children. The Administrative Directors report directly to the CNO, with specific Unit Directors reporting to them.

Qualifications:
Education Required: Master's Degree Education Preferred: MSN Experience Required: 5 years clinical management, in a Director level position
