Description
Hospital is seeking highly skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse with a positive, caring attitude and excellent team player to work on our fabulous PACU Team. Doctors Surgical Services is well known for excellence in quality and patient outcomes in the South Florida market, renowned in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. Our remarkable teamwork is a big part of that reputation!
This is a fast paced setting where our RN's are treasured and supported by a competent and caring management team, as well as ancillary staff. We all work together in this busy area to deliver the best and most compassionate care in South Florida!

This is a Full Time PACU Clinical Nurse position with a schedule of four 10-hr shifts, with Thursdays off. The hours are 7-5:30 with some flexibility. Our nurses must be will to take on call duty, 8 hours on weeknights, and 12 hour weekend call.

Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, and be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Florida.

In addition, the ideal candidate must have:
Have previous PACU, Pre-Anesthesia or Critical Care experience.
Be proficient with airway management.
Have knowledge of anesthesia.
ACLS, BLS certifications are also important.
Completion of AACN arrhythmia course.

In this role, assessment and critical thinking skills are very important.
