JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Associate – Registered Nurse is accountable to the Manager, Health Services and is responsible for creating a place of learning, healing and caring in accordance with the mission, values and goals of Hospital. The Registered Nurse uses professional and program standards to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. The Registered Nurse assists with tasks that are a cross-responsibility of all team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training, and Experience:
Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practising registration with the RNABC. Specialized nursing areas (*) require completion of post-graduate program in nursing specialty (**) and a minimum of on year’s recent acute care experience.



*Operating Room, Post-Anaesthetic Recovery, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency, Maternity



** OR – Operating Room Nursing Program PACU – Post-Anaesthetic Care Program Emergency – Emergency Nursing Program ICU – Critical Care Program Maternity – Obstetrical Nursing Program or Certified Midwife Paediatrics – Certificate or Advanced Diploma, Paediatric Nursing Telemetry – Certificate, Basic Dysrhythmia Interpretation
