Orthopaedic Surgery
Position open immediately for a full time P.A. interested in a combined clinical/surgical environment with emphasis in joint reconstruction/replacement and spine surgery. Duties to include first assist in O.R., pre and post-operative care, and rounding. A desire to learn and to be an active participant in the growth and management of a practice is most important. The scope of this position is limited only by the ability of the individual and will require the ability to function in an independent fashion. Limited call responsibilities and typically a 4 or 4 and a half day work week. Limited to no evening or weekend responsibilities at P.A.’s choice.

Qualifications: New graduates welcome to apply, prefer experience but willing to teach. Genuine interest in the orthopaedic area a must. Individuals must be graduates of an accredited training program and licensed as a PA-C in the state of Oregon with prescriptive authority and a DEA certificate. Individuals must have certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), or be eligible for certification, and able to be credentialed as practitioners in the Portland hospitals. The ability to work full time and to have a flexible schedule is critical.

Salary: Base salary, benefits (health, pension, vacation, leave, cme travel, malpractice and more) and bonus potential. Potential for six figure income depending on applicant’s ambition and flexibility.
