Responsibilities: Responsible for all general respiratory care duties as a respiratory care practitioner which includes the administration of aerosol therapy, arterial blood analysis, ECG's, pulmonary function screening, oxygen administration, and incentive spriometry. Ability to work effectively with staff. He/she will demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, vision, and goals of the department and organization. Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work ethics and clinical practice. Treats coworkers, staff, physicians, patients, and families with equal consideration and respect.

Education: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training; Graduate from an AMA accredited school of respiratory therapy.

Certification/Licenses: Respiratory Care License in the state of Arizona; Current ACLS certification or registered for ACLS class; CRTT certification.

Skills: Has current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served. Must be competent in performing general respiratory care procedures. Must be competent in communication skills that provide clear and accurate information in an appropriate manner within the developmental age range of the patient.

Experience: New Graduate to one year of experience in Respiratory Care.
