Complete Description

Responsibilities: A Registered Nurse who through study and supervised clinical practice at the graduate level, has become an expert in a defined area of knowledge and practice in the Emergency Room setting. The Clinical Nurse Specialist enacts the sub-roles of expert clinical practitioner, educator, consultant, and researcher and facilitates change, collaboration, clinical leadership, role modeling and patient advocacy

Education: Master's Degree

Certification/Licenses: Current Arizona RN license, CPR, ACLS certification, speciality ER certification.

Skills: Compile statistics; computer literacy, data entry, retrieval, reporting; coordinate meetings; research information; strong analytical and organizational skills; team facilitation and meeting skills.

Experience: 3-5 years recent clinical experience in Emergency. At least 2 years of CNS experience in the ER setting.
